Meet the HYTEK sales team

Claire Lovesey, Sales Manager

In her 11th year in the industry, Clare brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role. After a successful career in Accounts and Business Management, which included working in Germany, Clare took a step back to focus on motherhood. She began her journey with Pumptronics in an administrative and customer services role. When the lead sales person left, Clare stepped up to cover sales, a role she has excelled in ever since.

When Hytek acquired Pumptronics, Clare embraced the opportunity to offer a broader range of products to a wider customer base. Now, as the Sales Manager, she supports both the UK and Export Sales Teams with passion and expertise.

In her spare time, Clare is often found on the sidelines of a football pitch cheering on her son and his team. She’s also an avid supporter of Norwich City, frequently attending matches at Carrow Road. When not immersed in football, Clare enjoys paddleboarding on the scenic Norfolk Broads.

Dan Wood, Account Manager

Dan began his career as an Apprentice Technician for Mercedes, where he steadily advanced through the roles of Maintenance Technician, Systems Technician, and Diagnostic Technician, ultimately becoming a Service Team Manager. After 16 successful years, he sought a new challenge in Fleet Management and Sales, a field he excelled in for the next three years. For the past two years, Dan has been a valued member of Hytek as an Account Manager, bringing his extensive expertise and dedication to the team.

Outside of work, Dan is an avid sports enthusiast. Whether he’s playing golf, cricket, or any other sport available, he embraces the challenge and camaraderie that comes with athletic competition. His passion for sports is a testament to his dynamic and energetic approach to both his professional and personal life.

Jack Tickner, Account Manager

Starting his career in the sports industry, Jack began working at a small trophy shop in East London at the age of 18. Over 12 years with B&W Trophies Ltd, he contributed significantly to the company’s growth, helping it become one of the top 10 online retailers of trophies in the UK. During this time, he managed relationships with over 1,000 customers, building strong connections and ensuring top-notch service.

The impact of COVID-19 on the sports industry in 2021 led Jack to seek new opportunities, and he joined Hytek as a Business Development Manager in June of that year. With three years at Hytek under his belt, Jack has transitioned into the role of Account Manager, where he now oversees key customer accounts and continues to drive success for the company.

Outside of work, Jack is a devoted father of two young children who keep him on his toes. He is also passionate about gardening, managing two allotment plots along with his own garden, and leading the local allotment committee. His dedication to both his professional and personal endeavours exemplifies his commitment and versatility.

Zac Thompson, Account Manager

Zac spent over 10 years in the logistics industry as a Transport Planner before transitioning to become an Account Manager at Hytek last year. In his current role, Zac works closely with Clare, serving as the internal account manager who looks after all of Hytek’s UK accounts across various customer sectors from his office base. Outside of work, Zac enjoys gardening and cherishes spending time with his 2-year-old daughter.

James Canning, Account Manager Support Associate

James began his journey with the company in April 2023, starting in Customer Support before being promoted to his current role as Account Manager Support Associate a year later. His diverse background includes working as a chef, running his own mobile car valet business, and holding positions in online advertising sales and as an online shopping department manager.

Outside of work, James enjoys a variety of hobbies that showcase his wide-ranging interests. He loves playing bass guitar, is an avid Formula 1 fan, and has a passion for cooking and music. This eclectic mix of experiences and interests makes James a versatile and engaging member of the team, bringing unique perspectives and a dynamic approach to his role.

Fabio Brunicardi, Account Manager

Fabio brings a rich and varied background to his role at Hytek. With a diploma in agriculture and a past career in winemaking, he also ran his own successful business in the jewellery market before transitioning to his current position. Fabio’s extensive experience spans multiple industries, from food to automotive, and now the fuel sector. He joined Hytek as International Customer Support and quickly advanced to become the International Account Manager.

Coming from a family of salespeople, Fabio has always excelled in roles centred around sales, customer satisfaction, and relationship building. His passion for resolving customer issues and sealing deals is evident in his every interaction, making him a valued asset to the Hytek team.

Outside of work, Fabio has a deep love for sports and vehicles. He played football for over 30 years until a knee injury shifted his focus to the gym, where he now dedicates his time to fitness. A lifelong car and bike enthusiast, his fascination with the technical side of vehicles began at age seven with car magazines and has only grown since. Fabio’s diverse experiences and passions make him a dynamic and engaging professional.

Thomas Littleton, Export Customer Support

Starting his career at FedEx in Stansted as a package handler, Tom quickly discovered his passion for the freight industry. Transitioning to the role of import and export clerk, his enthusiasm for the sector grew. Seeking new challenges, he became a transport coordinator clerk, expertly managing drivers and upholding TACHO law standards.

However, his love for the export industry beckoned him back, leading him to join Hytek in January 2024. With a bright future ahead, he eagerly anticipates the exciting years to come at Hytek.

Outside of work, his passion for cars takes centre stage, spending weekends at car events and socializing with fellow enthusiasts.
