Anti-syphon valves are devices designed to prevent the syphoning of above ground fuel storage tanks. This can occur when the dispensing pump is pulled off when the pump dispensing nozzle is driven off when it is still in the vehicle’s fuel tank. As well as when the pipework from the tank is leaking or is damaged. These valves are commonly used on above-ground bulk fuel storage tanks to prevent the tank from siphoning, an environmental must.
