This HYTEK Engineered anti-syphon, pressure regulating valve is essential for protecting diesel and HVO bulk fuel storage tanks. It prevents tanks from emptying if the dispensing pump or connected pipework becomes damaged. Consequently, it offers a critical layer of security for your fuel systems.
Importantly, Hytek has been manufacturing its own pressure regulating (PR) valve since before 1997. Each unit is carefully assembled and tested in-house. Furthermore, the valve is fully adjustable depending on the tank height and the fuel’s head pressure. As a result, it prevents dispensing pumps from being overworked and stops fuel escaping from the air separator outlet valve. Therefore, it plays a vital role in reducing fuel loss and contamination.
Moreover, the HYTEK Engineered anti-syphon, pressure regulating valve (PR) handles fuel dispensing flow rates up to 110 litres per minute. Uniquely, it can also cope with up to 7.5 metres of head pressure.
Additionally, installation is easy thanks to the 1½" female BSPT flanged inlet and outlet ports. The valve is supplied with an inlet strainer to prevent internal contamination and prolong the diaphragm’s life. For best results, it must be mounted horizontally or vertically close to the fuel dispenser. (Please refer to the installation instructions.)
Finally, every valve features a UK-made, high-quality die-cast body assembled and tested at the HYTEK factory. The factory is located just a 10-minute drive from London Stansted Airport. Thus, when you choose HYTEK, you are investing in proven British engineering, reliable performance, and complete peace of mind.
