Before joining Hytek, Richard enjoyed a distinguished career spanning over 40 years with the Ford Motor Company. Throughout his time there, Richard gained a wealth of experience across a variety of key roles, including engineering, production, manufacturing, electronics, logistics, and aftermarket care. His broad expertise allowed him to contribute to multiple facets of the company’s operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence in every department he touched.

After leaving Ford, Richard embarked on a new chapter of his career, working as an independent consultant. He specialised in helping businesses make informed decisions and improve their operational effectiveness, utilising his decades of experience to guide companies toward greater success. During this time, Richard’s reputation for driving results grew, and we were fortunate enough to be introduced to him.

Initially, Richard joined Hytek as a part-time external consultant, providing invaluable advice and insight into operational improvements. We were thrilled when Richard officially joined the team full-time in November 2023 as our Operations and Process Improvement Manager. In this role, Richard is focused on enhancing processes, driving efficiency, and ensuring that Hytek continues to operate at its highest potential.
